1-The simple fact that DPRK is trying to get an international attention by trying to represent a nuclear threat shows that they don’t have any other way to play a role on the global scene.

We think this is pretty expressive about the influence they have in International Relations, considering their foreign policy is based on the power they have on the people, preferring to be influential in the eyes of their people rather than the world.

However this does not mean they are irrational or inefficient in their way of winning an international power and influence regarding the panic they created around the world. We may now wonder whether they are going to lose credibility or to represent a real world threat. However we think they are causing so much troubles with their nuclear power for the only purpose of making their people feel powerful and proud of their country which would reinforced their dictator’s authority.

2-As long as the people don’t realize the hold that states has over them, DPRK will represent an international threat. If they lose the influence they have on people they lose the influence they have on the world, and as a result an up-rising is the only theory which could resolve the conflict. They obviously want to show their independence and power by not respecting the agreements about nuclear weapons they signed, and as they want to prove their statehood the world is powerless against the obstinacy of DPRK, unless a war begins but we cannot risk reaping the international mechanics.
