The "Gun control" is guaranteed by the amendment of the American Constitution: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of A free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." This Rule At the beginning of the construction of the United States (1790) Allows the armed militia reating for lack of police and army service. Individuals at the same time as the right to meet can own firearms to defend themselves as well as defend the country. Individual militia members could buy weapons, if we were outside the militias, we had to pay a little more. The second amendment is not allowed by the possession of firearms, because the Constitution tells us that the right to defend itself and therefore to possess weapons is a right derived from God.
Today militias still exist but are less important than the arms lobby. Indeed, over the last few years, firearms have multiplied in the United States causing mass killings as we have seen in recent years, especially in high schools and colleges. In 2018, age in all states except California authorizes the sale and possession of firearms to all persons 18 years or older while the majority for drinking a beer is 21. There have been major problems with firearms for about ten years, which is mainly due to the non-existent control of individuals procuring weapons. The FBI is trying to control the flow of weapons and information from the owners, however it is possible to buy weapons at the supermarket, cashiers do not make the federal administrative documents (no sanctions exist if they Contravene legislation) and firearms are in the hands of extremist, criminal or insane people. Moreover, the number of accidents due to weapons is multiplying, with weapons being left to the sights and to the seizure of children some kill their families or themselves by wanting to play.
The solution proposed by the former Presidents was to regulate the movement of arms in the country, following the killing of Parkland in Florida on 14 February 2018 having made 17 deaths, the authorities decided to raise the age to buy a weapon at 21 years (age of Majority). The NRA opposed it and brought a complaint against the state. Donald Trump in one of his tweets did not call to the fact of dropping weapons but raised the idea of weapons the professors or put armed guards in all the American schools because for him: a bad armed man can be shot by a good armed man too".
In the United States, the big problem is the arms lobby held by an association: the NRA that protects civil rights and especially the Second amendment of the Constitution. Because of its dominating position, the NRA is a powerful association which assists candidates in presidential elections by guaranteeing them on the one hand a large part of the voices of members of their association (5-6 million according to them) as well as Significant campaign funding to allow candidates to win. In return, the presidents make no laws binding on the use and trade of firearms otherwise protected by the NRA.
