English : Final task (Australia)

- Hi Lilly !

- Hi Josh, what's up ?

- I just bought a ticket to Australia, I'll have an improvised trip !

- Good for you ! Traveling is so much fun. Where do you plan to go in Australia ?

- In fact, I have no idea ... I wanted to ask you for advice on what I could do and where I could go.

- Okay, I'm going to give you some suggestions, but first, have you ever been in Australia ?

- Yes, I've been there twice. The first time was five years ago and the second was last year.

- So, Have you already visited anything in Queensland ?

- No, but I planned to go to Brisbane. Do you have something on your mind ?

- In Brisbane, you can go kayaking on the Brisbane River, or go to the beach witch is situated at the City Center. You can also visit The Eat Street Market, where you can taste and buy so much new and delicious things for cheap !

- I like the idea of the beach but I prefer more energic activities ...

- Have you ever surfed ?

- Yeah, I really enjoy surfing ! but only in warm waters ...

- In this case, Brisbane is well linked to the Gold Coast, where you can surf on the best waves, coming straight from the Coral Sea. The Gold Coast also has some of the biggest  amusements parks of Australia, many tropical forests with the most beautiful flora of the country.

- If you go to the Gold Coast, you should also pass by the Great Barrier Reef. It's stretching for over 2,300 km over an area of approximately 344,400 square kilometers and it's separated from the coast by a channel 100 miles wide in places and over 200 feet deep.

It's the most important ecosystem on the planet, with a diversity of terrestrial and aquatic life. There is about 1,600 species of fish, 6 different species of sea turtles and more than 300 types of coral systems. All of that can be discovered by scuba diving ! Have you ever dived with scuba ?

- No, I haven't, I'll try for sure. It seems amazing !

But I've read somewhere that the Great white shark inhabit in these waters. It's the largest, most ferocious and strongest shark in the world. Since 1800, 300 white shark attacks have been fatal in Australia .

- You're right. Therefore, you shouldn't swim in deep waters of the Great Barrier Reef. And you also need to know that even if you lie down on the sand to enjoy the sun, you are not safe from saltwater crocodiles, which are the heaviest and most dangerous. So beware.

- Stop scaring me !

- You have started ...

- Oh, my friends are waiting for me, I need to go !

- I wish I could go with you to Australia, it's a magical country ! You'll have so much fun !

Ok, so, see you soon !

- I hope so, bye !

- Bye Aussie !
