Definition of judicial review => PROCEDURE UNDER WHICH A COURT IS GOING TO REVIEW AN EXECUTIVE OR LEGISLATIVE ACT

There is a different meaning of judical revieww in English law and in US law ( voir powerpoint eprel)

• American law is both influenced by the English system
• When the American law system was creatd it was influenced by the common law
• The American sysem is the first one to establish the juducial review, it was
• Judicial review is a good way to introducee to common law

• “ justices” is the way we call a judge from the Supreme court
• Il y’a 2 niveaux de juridictions : un niveau federal régit pat par la Constituion ou par des lois a l’echelle nationale, un niveau relatif aux etats federes regit par des lois à l’echelle de chacun des etats
