Thank you.
The biggest advantage of a Gap Year is the possibility to live somewhere incredible overseas. It will allow you to discover some part of the world which you don’t know.
Moreover, it gives you access to local customs and it allows you to make new friends and collect some unforgettable memories.
Furthermore, a gap year adds 2 positives points to your resume; first of all, it demonstrates your willingness to work hard and it also heavily suggest that you care about the people that are less fortunate.
Nevertheless, during your time off you’ll be able for example to go on sightseeing or safari tours, discover the wildlife …
I used the word drawbacks but they are more negative aspects that you have to overcome.
As you’ll be living in a least developed country you’ll have a poor network in terms of communication (internet and cellphones won’t work well)
Also, you may encounter some situations where you won’t have electricity for some longs hours due to power cuts.
Depending on which “city”, if I may call it like that, you may not have running water, so you’ll have to accustom to the short hours where where water will be available.
Finally, you may face a bad transport infrastructure. The planes, trains, bus won’t always be on schedule …
As I said earlier, I would not say that those points are drawbacks, it will be nothing in comparison to the other advantages we would derive from such an and experience and I’m sure we will get through them.
As a conclusion I can say that a gap year is an opportunity to travel and settle into a local community while helping those in need.
As a reward you’ll get valuable experiences, new friends and exceptional memories.
I would like to thank you all for your attention and also for the 5000 euros cause let’s agree guys our project is clearly the best.
