We live in a generation were being different in any way makes you an instant threat to everybody.

Have you ever been called mean nick names like fat, ugly, worthless, geek, idiot, dork or even worst? Were you abele to walk through the hallways without at least one-person picking on you or pushing you or calling you names.

Bulling is a major issue in today’s society.  Especially among teenagers. But what most people don’t know is that being bullied change a person’s personality. It cause’s the person that is normally confident and happy to become self-conscious, shy, and unsure. Plus, they may also become sad or/and depressed. Some times their confidence might completely disappear, keeping them from trying new things or/and trusting people. Once bullied, the person hesitates to participate in situations where he/she might be mocked, like in a public speaking or sports. They might even begin to show anxious behavior that they did not have before.

In some cases, it might even reach a point where the person cannot take it anymore and decides to commit suicide. The taught proses of this decision goes through a mental state of despair, depression and sheer hopelessness. More than 90 percent of all people who kill themselves suffered from a major psychiatric or addictive illness, a severe anxiety disorder, or borderline or antisocial personality disorder.

We live in a generation were every 7 MINUTES a child is bullied and suicide is among the leading causes of death of children under 14 which most of them die by hanging. Suicide rates among 10 to 14-year-olds have grown more than 50 percent over the last three decades. (This is without counting the suicides caused by sexual assaults.)

So let me ask you a question. How many times have you seen someone being bullied in the hallways and just acted as you saw nothing and just kept on walking? How many times did you not stand up for someone that was being picked on in class? How many times did you walk pass when you saw or heard people being picked on? How many times were you too afraid to say anything because you were to scared that the same thing will happen to you.

Think about it you could have helped someone and change their life but no why would you no one helped you when you were in there place so why would you do any different. Right?
