He is in a bar and he is drunk and he explain a story but he is drunk that’s why he says “Give me a second I need to get my story straight » and tonight he feels young and practically invincible  « Tonight we are young so let’s the world on fire ».  « We can burn brighter than the sun »

Yes the lyrics shows an emotion of euphoria since he is drunk and feels young he thinks he can do anything that shows a high esteem and a proud.

“ Tonight, we are young so let’s set the world on fire we can burn brighter than the sun”

This phrase is the most popular of the music and is says a lot because it shows how well being young is and the feeling of invincibility. And I like that sentence because it reminds me to enjoy my youth.

That youth is important from my personal point of view

  1. Who do you think is the intended audience for the song? Why do you think this?

Young people since it speaks of alcohol, bar. And it says “My friends are in the bathroom getting higher than the Empire State” So he is definitely talking about drugs and thats what young teens do.

  1. How do you classify the genre of this song?

Its Pop

  1. Is this song effective emotionally? Explain how.

Yes because it can bring people back to a state of nostalgia. People who will remember their youth and say that time is passing too fast and that they did not have time to enjoy it to the full taste

Not really because the lyrics is simple not rich but the words really have a sentimental and emotional value but otherwise the lyrics are very simple no complicated words.
