In today's society it is important to carry out internships in companies. The internship is a period of activity in a company during which a student applies what he has learned in class. First I'm going to explain the advantages and disadvantages that an internship can bring to a student and finally I will suggest solutions to find internships.
The first internship experience can be impressive but it allows to gain self-confidence, to enrich your CV, to acquire professional skills such as teamwork, listening and respect. An internship in a company allows to do real work. The internship is a way to discover the job you like by doing it in the sector that attracts you. Mandatory or not, an internship is intended to help discover the world of work, to put knowledge into practice and acquire professional experience. An internship makes it possible to observe professionals in real-life situations, to discover certain aspects of a profession that we do not know about and to check whether it really corresponds. Doing an internship in a company during studies can make the difference when the student is looking for his first job.
The constraints of a training course can be the distance from the place of training, no remuneration, the report of training course to be carried out and to be returned to the teachers in a limited time, the evaluation of the training supervisor which can be negative, the period of training course can be during the holidays, a conflict with the superior due to the lack of feeling. Some internships do not bring what was expected of them.
Finally, it is necessary to take the opportunity to do internships to increase skills.
