S : So, I will outline facts.

It was August 17th at 3 p.m, Mrs El Alaoui, the victim's friend commited a manslaughter against Mrs Pinson Laura.

Taking into account the circonstances, it will be victim's sister, Mrs Pinson Maelys, who will represent her at the court.

All coast incurred amounted to 3 years imprisonment and 45 000 pounds of fine.

Mrs El Alaoui Ikram, how do you plead ?

I : Guilty.

S : The trial can start.

I : It was a good day, in summer, with my best friend.. The weather was fine so we deaded to do canoe. Laura loved the canoe. We left at the Scotland's lake at 3 p.m yes. When we sit to get ready, Laura looked if there were fishes in the water I think. I hadn't noticed it yet at this moment. I couldn't see her, she was behind me. I was wearing my life jacket. I : I don' know how to swim too. It is irresponsable, I know it but we took the decision to go out there together. I am so sorry for what's happened. I apologies..

I : I understand.

S : You have to calm dawn Mrs Pinson because we are here to resolve the problem. Try to take into account Mrs El Alaoui's excuses. I propose you 1 and a half years of prison and comunity services during 1 year.

M : I'm not agree with you however despite Mrs El Alaoui's apologies and the fact that she plead guilty, she died and nothing or no one is every going to change that. It's my sister and I was very close to her. I'm in an extraordinary large amount of pain and I need justice to get closure. For me, the accused should have a heavy sentence. I understand that this is manslaughter but you still killed someone. You deserve the maxiamal penalty for manslaughter, so 3 years in jail and 45 thousand euros in fines. I'm sorry Ikram, but it was my sister…

S : After this judicial decision, Mrs El Alaoui Ikram is culprit. Her sentence is one half year of imprisonment with a punishment which one year of community services beause she show remorse, she has an unblemished record and also because the victim's sister have family ties with the victim so she undergo moral suffering. Everything represent mittigating circumstances for the culprit. The trial is over, you can dispose.
