2/ What is the reaction, the answer, of the woman when the journalist asks her if she could kill an armed student?

She says that it would be difficult, painful, but she would think that it could save lives if she did it: “It would be tough, it would be heartbreaking”, “he would alter life if you didn’t do something”.

3/ How many states authorize guns in US? With which restriction?

Not less than 9 states authorize them (“at least 9 states”) but guns have to be safely locked (“securely sealed”).

4/ TRUE/FALSE: The man is 100% certain that there would have no firing accidents.

FALSE: “It could happen”.

5/ List the activities proposed by the sheriff’s program.

The activities are: gunshot first aid / de-escalation / self-defense / basic tactics

6/ Is the teacher worried about the access by a kid to his gun? If not, why?

No, he is not worried at all saying he would keep it well hidden: “No, it would be on my person at all times, secure and concealed”.

7/ How does he justify teachers gun possession in schools?

He considers that it is his responsibility as a teacher to have pupils safe at school. Parents rely on him: “those parents send their kids at school expecting that they are going to be kept safe. Right now, that’s on the teachers”.

8/ What is your opinion about this video? If you were a teacher, would you accept it?
