PROBLEMATIC : why should we have a dress code in business?

Définition : the dress code is a rule on the outfits in the business

Introduction : The dress code varies by industries

There are 5 types of dress code :

• Business (formal)

• Business informal

• Business casual

• Smart casual

• Casual

Business formal :

Business formal is the most formal attire.

It is a strict style.

Men should dress in costume dark mandatory tie color, with a clamp trousers and polished shoes

Women should dress in a dark suit with a shirt and heels

it is a holding company as attributed to some:

• the bank

• the accounting firm

• hotel

• Politicians

• in insurance

• air hostess

Business informal :

the style is the same as the previous with differences

Men should dress in suit and tie

Women should dress

it is a holding company as attributed to some:

• secretary

• entrepreneur

• real estate agency

• travel agency

Business casual

the style is casual but professional

Men can dress with a cotton pants and a polo shirt or a neutral

Women can dress in pants but no jeans and they are allowed to wear skirts below the knee

It is a holding company as attributed to some :

• At the mayor

• among telephone operators

• the prefecture

Smart casual

it's a casual but classy and neat

Men should dress in jeans without holes with loafers and a blazer

Women should dress in dark jeans with a blazer, heels and a blazer

It is a holding company as attributed to some :

• business woman

• opticians

• professors

Casual :

the style is casual
