Policies to be put in place as a priority

Hello everyone, my name is … and I if I’m here today it is to talk about the policies to be put in place as a priority. First, I’ll talk about education, after legal problems, and about global warming.

First, we know that schooling educates students, allows them to secure a future, and school is one of the very first places of socialization. However, for students the school must be a safe place. But is this the case for all schools? Well, I would say that no it is not the case! The rate of bullying is growing, students are put in competition, there is also a lot of pressure about controls and especially grades. I think politicians should review the school system to find solutions for the well-being of students. For example, we can give larger scholarships to allow all young people to access large schools, favor the MCQs and do a small check at the end of the hour to ensure the course is understood, organize training for teachers to allow them to better support students in difficulty (mental or physical), Reinstate the wearing of uniforms to put students on an equal footing. Many other solutions can be put in place, even if we fail to create a perfect school system, we will at least have made it safer.

Secondly, we’ve been able to notice over the years thanks to the media that justice is failing. Indeed, we see more and more journalists denouncing judicial errors. The problem at the moment is that justice must protect us, on the contrary the world is becoming more dangerous. Prisons are overcrowded, so some of the prisoners must be released, influential people use their fame to avoid convictions. Corruption is becoming important in our society, and this is not normal, politicians should ensure that all lawyers are neutral and impartial in their work and that everyone is punished when they commit a crime, regardless of the social status. We have the right to ask for more security and we should be able to trust justice.

 I would also like to talk about environmental problems. The current state of our resources is becoming more and more worrying because we’ve exhausted almost all our resources and we’ve increased the rate of pollution. The situation is problematic because pollution creates respiratory diseases and worsens them for people who already have this problem. And we mustn’t forget the natural disasters linked to global warming. But some people try to live by doing greener actions like using their bike more or walk more often. But now, where are the politicians? What are they doing to stop all this? What are the solutions? We want a safe world for everyone, we want things to change, and we want to be listened to
