Journalist:  Hello Eden Hazard, thanks for giving us this interview. So, today I will ask you a few questions your career for introduce yourself, the role of sport in society and the impact on people.  First, I’ll let you introduce yourself for readers who don’t know you.

Eden: My name is Eden Hazard, I’m a Belgian professional football player since 13 years. I started my career at Lille training center in 2005 but I started to play with the professional team in 2008. I won one French cup with the LOSC in 2011 and by the same time I was named best player of Ligue 1. After all this successes in France, I decided to go to London, and now I play with Chelsea FC.

Journalist: That’s a nice course ! Can you tell us, which memory has left you the most ?

Eden: It was in Lille, in 2011. When the team and I, won the French cup, all the city was outside to celebrate the victory. For me, it was just incredible ! All these people we did not know were here to applaud us.

Journalist: After having lived this kind of scene, do you think that sport have an impact of today society ?

Eden: Without hesitation yes ! In every sport, whenever a team from his city or country win a trophy, people in general are very happy. When a team that you support win something, it makes you glad and enthusiastic. Remember in 1998, when the French football team won the world cup, I was a young kid but I remember that all the country were in fire !

Journalist: Now you leave France for England, but is there differences between French supporters and English ones ? Is the impact the same in all country ?

Eden: Not at all ! All supporters are the same, they are always here to support you, they pay subscriptions to come to the stadium every 2 weeks, they lose their voice at every goals and every action and that’s why, for me, sport have a very important impact on the society and it still the same wherever you will go.
