Sean GOBIN
Introducing
My ordinary hero’s name is Sean GOBIN. He’s from Front Royal in Virginia in USA.
As a U.S Marine tank commander, Sean endured many harrowing experiences. That’s how he knows how it’s difficult to go back to the today life after being on the battlefield.
His actions
That’s why he created “The Walk of the War”. This program consists of a very long hike. That means that the group is walking about 6 month and travel over than 3000 kilometers.
“Walk of the War” is destined to veterans who want to find their place in the world after serving the military, or just to forget the awful things they’ve seen on the battlefield.
Praises
To date, more than 70 veterans have participated in the program. And Sean received over that 150 applications for the next year.
I think he’s a hero because all these experiences help veterans to manage their post-traumatic stress and regain their faith in people
