Hello, my name is Eugenie, I am sixteen and I live in Paris. I would be glad to make my life in Kenya. Let me explain you the reasons of this decision. Firstly I will present you this beautiful country, secondly I will tell you the reasons, and last but not least I will mention my feelings
Kenya is located in East Africa, its capital is Nairobi, it has an area smaller than France one and 42 000 000 inhabitants. The population of Kenya lives mainly from agriculture and tourism.
First, why do I want to live in kenya ? Well because I have ever been there with my family when I was younger, for a safari, saw many animals like elephants, lions, giraffes we could see them living, hunting, sleeping, taking care of their babies, fighting against each other. Kenya was amazing, the most unforgettable destination I have ever visited my all life.
You know I also would like to be a veto since I was 6, and I have not change my mind. It would be so advantageous to live in a country where animals are free and so interresting to practice on savannah animals instead of dogs or cats.
Then, the climate is so cool there, temperature is always above 20 degrees Celsius. For someone like me that doesn’t like coldness it is the place to be.
I also would like to make my life in Kenya because the landscapes are beautiful, there are two kinds of landscapes in Kenya, the forest and the desert. As you can see, there is a mountain made up of three volcanoes extinguish called Kilimandjaro. The sunset are extraordinary colourful. I will tell you also that 20 years ago, there was snow from the top of the mountain, but unfortunately it melts because of the global warming.
Then I am interested in living there because I could participate in humanitarian actions there, some tribes are really poor, lacking of nearly everything, still excluded , and I want to try this experience because when I was in Kenya I met a people called masai , I visited the place where they lived and I gave them candies, pencils and books and it was a very enriching.
People in kenya are very warm, they work hard to keep their tradition and to develop the country, it is a country where a lot of resources are exploited like tea, petrol, coffee and cement ,like others African country Its soil contains rare metals that can be used to create electronic components and electric motors. African countries are experiencing very strong development in the 20th century
There is also the access to the sea side with white sand beaches where we can enjoy in the waves.
ON one hand I am excited to go to Kenya but on the other hand it scares me, it is so far from my family. End very different from the France standards of living.
Maybe to confirm my choice, I should try to find an internship in Kenya, spend a few month there and then make my choices afterward.
Thank you for listening to me, I hope you have enjoyed this moment. Have you got any questions ?
