We can see lots of documents : some deals with the population growth, the language repartition in the country, the sectors of activity or the major religions. Others give us global information like the total of population.

All these documents are dealing with India.

India today is seventeen point five % of the world’s population, fifty five billionaires do fourth-highest in the world. According to a study on overall well-being, seventeen % people describes themselves as "thriving". But India has two faces ; I mean, a majority of Indians (sixty four%) believe they are "struggling", while 19% think they are "suffering". The life expectancy is to sixty six point eight years. 42% of the people living below o point Ninety three euros a day (in two thousand and five). For others examples, there are only seventy four % literacy against 99% in France. The Sex selection is a real problem for India, there is nine hundred and forty females for one thousand males.

The fist graph, a line chart, brings out evolutions of populations since nineteen forty-one to Twenty-fifty.

In nineteen forty-one, it was estimate on three hundred nineteen million. It grows to 1 point 2 billion today to reach 1 point 7 billion in twenty-fifty. India's population will overtake China's one by thirty-twenty.

The India includes many ethnicities, which haves their own languages. The most important is the Hindi (41%) but there is also the Bengali (8.1%, Telugu (7.2%), Marathi (7%), Tamil (5.9%) and many others. There are about twelve different languages in the country.

As well as the various ethnic groups, India know lots of religions. The first is The Hinduism (80.5%), se second is the Islam, wish concern 13.4% of the population. After comes Christianity (2.3%), Sikhism (1.9%), the Buddhism (o.8%) and the Jainism (o.4%).

These differences have driven many ethnic conflicts

The bar chart show us the GDP of the third sectors of activity (agriculture, industry and services). The agriculture held 30% of the GDP in but decreased up to 17.5 in two thousand and nine .The industry decreased to 25 % to 20 % of GDP. these sectors give their share of % at the services ; who knew growth dramatically to 44.7 % to 62.6% in two thousand and nine.
