Work experience in a factory located in Remoulins

I made my work experience in a factory located in Remoulins which produces food trays. This company was called Vitembal but in 2011 she’s acquire by an Italian group “Sirap Gema” and became Sirap Remoulins. She is managed by Eddy Poveda and she account 100 employees. Sirap sell the food trays in supermarkets.

I go in the factory by car with my father.  I began at 9 am and finished at 5 pm and I had a break between 12 am and 2 pm. I met the director and a many employees who were very kind and patient with me. I wasn’t allowed to be in the factory alone for my security.  I had to classify files of secretaries. My most interesting day was Thursday because I did lots of things which I didn’t know. First I program machines and make statements, and then I have make drawings in 3D with software and bring them at my home. Next they showed me how to produce food trays and I visited all the factory; they produce 40 million of them in a month ! It was very interesting.

I really loved this work experience; it was very interesting because I discovered how we make food trays and how a factory works. My timetable wasn’t too filled but I appreciated all the same my work experience. Everybody was very nice with me and I very appreciated this.             I prefer be in a factory than in the high school because I find that there is a better atmosphere and I prefer the manuals works. I knew everybody; it was almost as a family for me.                    At the high school, it’s everyone for himself.
