Introduction:
My name is Asmaou Toure I am 17 years old and I am in T ASSP (Accompagnement, Soins et Service a la Personne) at Henri Poincaré high school in Palaiseau.
This work placement would allow me to deepen my knowledge.
I've already done a three-week work placement in a EHPAD(from 2 november to 27 november).
I chose this work placement because I had never had the opportunity to be with eldery people, It was my teachers who helped me find this internship.During this work placements I expected to do the restroom, to give meals and to make beds.
Presentation of the organization:
The name of the organization is Les Parentéles is located in La Ville du Bois (18 Allé Victor Hugo ,91620 La Ville du Bois).The structure consist of the director, the medical, paramédical, administrative team, the animation team, and the hotel team and accommodation centre.
Working environment:
During my work placement I performed some care, I worked in apartement C on the first floor, my intership tutor's name is Mai. I had a professional outfit which cosisted of white pants and a purple tunic.
There were security rules : they had absolutely no need to go out without permission.
In the structure there was a very good atmosphere between the employes a real group atmosphere. To get to my intership, I was taking the bus. I'm eating in the break room with the staff, I started at 9 o'clock and finished at 4:30, my break was from 12:30 to 1:30.
My taks :
I'm going to tell you a typical day : When I arrived at 9 o'clock i gave the residents food then I brought them back to their room to do the toilets, aroud noon I was going to do the transmissions and at about 12:30 it was time for lunch, from 1.30 pm to 3 .30 pm some took the other activities nap and at 16:30 it was time to taste and at 5 o'clock my day is over !
