Stage à BNP Paribas

My company is BNP Paribas and it is a commercial bank, it sells various products such as credit cards or loans through bank savings it also sells insurance and pension.

BNP Paribas is organized as follows: An agency with consultants for individual customers and corporate customers who are headed by a branch manager, then we have the entities combine several agencies. And finally these entities once grouped as "regional groups" that depend CEO. For me it is the group "Country of Gironde".

The main competitor of the BNP Paribas is Credit Agricole because is the second French bank in 2014 after BNP Paribas.

At BNP Paribas, I was an intern, I conducted various tasks such as advice for investment or distribution of cash, making appointments, distribution of blue cards and checkbooks to customers.

The stage was very interesting in the sense that it allowed me to apply the theory that I see in high school for real case and not as a simulation during class.

Guide the client and help them choose, to answer questions for me is a consecration at least the end of the course in the early days because it was my colleagues who would rather see the client to help because the beginning I had very little knowledge. If there was one that I had to criticize among the various tasks I perform this would be the number of hours I spend on the phone to make appointments, which I could not attend because the counsellors were this too hard for me to understand.

For next year, I would like to continue professional license still in the banking sector at the CFPB in Bordeaux, if possible at BNP Paribas.
