1. Do you think you are good with money? Are you able to save money?

• Edwin: i save a little bit, he is pretty (plutot) frugal = economical

• Rosalind: She is pretty thrifty and that life in London is very expensive
• She uses her wage  (salaire) She has a cheap rent (loyer) , she cycles to work.

• travel, going out

• Paul: he is pretty good with money but i dont able to save money, he spends what they have

• Jemma: no she’s not the best with money but not able to save it too much. People spend = depenser what they have.

1. What do you spend most of your money on?

• Edwin: Food, nice and not cheap food

• Rosalind: travel,going out, holidays, flights in the places

• Paul: in entertainment: books ,going out cinema, eating out,

• Jemma: In travel because she’s leaving in Australia, and clothes

3.Do you agree with the saying ‘money makes the world go round’? Why? Why not?

• Edwin: He says no for him but that its people’s attitude in society. That it is a shame (C’est dommage

• Rosalind:For her no but she feels yes for the rest of the world.

• Paul: He doesn’t agree but says that money in vitally (= maniere vitale) important for everyday life.

• Jemma: She would say no but probably agree because oh what she sees in different cultures (she compares England and Australia)
