Employers are getting closer to their employees due to that new approach of their relationship. Being vocal about how one understand freedom is one of the reason.

Moreover, there are more and more employers who let their employees choose the project they want to work on and colleagues they want to work with.

Telecommuting is also facilitated by new ways of communication such as internet with Twitter or Facebook for instance. That is why there is an increasing number of employers that spend more time understating remote communication tools in order to allow telecommuting in their companies.
