RURAL AREAS

Nowdays, no matter where you are, people want the same basics: jobs, housing, good public services, a safe and attractive environment, and a society that gives everyone a chance. However, rural areas in the UK do not meet its needs. Yet, nineteen per cent of the population of England lives in rural areas which make up 85 per cent of the land which is too much if we consider that rural areas face too many problems. The one that we’re going to discuss today that is a main point is the high speed broadband connectivity, all the problem this brings and the solution to resolder them.

first of all, rural areas in England  face many problems, such as the lack of high speed broadband that impacts people's lives

Poverty is an economic, social problem. They must been autonomous , however they have

practically nothing. The public authorities are mainly concerned with the cites and not the

rural areas in the English country side wich generates a poverty in addition to the

remoteness. Poverty have an impact on the life of who live in rural areas. This poverty has

many specitities like

-the geographical remoteness that prevents access to transport that is difficult to move to the city or even to go to school. Its difficult due to the distance from the city and everything.

Poverty is increasing the security public transport and have an effect on the cost of daily

living.

- Also, having an employment can be more contraining because first there are pratically

none in rural areas so people who do not work locally or in agriculture have to move to the

city to have one and so it takes times and money to travel there everyday.

-Then, there is a housing problem that are degraded, old, unsuitable, and not renovated, still

linked to high poverty.

- Moreover, the migration of young people to the city because rural areas bring nothing to them, there is an increasingly older rural population than the urban, resulting in a healt needs and related care that are limited to rural spaces. In fact, rural areas have more difficult access to public healh care facilitites. What causes danger in case of malor problem.

-The lack of access to internet creates an isolation of the inhabitants of rural areas because they do not have access to information, televisio. Wich creates an isolation and social sociable solitude, mainly for the olderly.

Therefore, rural poverty leads to over-adaptation, territorial and a silent poverty. The single-parent families, the young people and farmers in difficulty are the people moste affected by the phenomen.

Some people think that there is nothing to do in the English country side because they are too far away to make any changes and the infrastructure is too old. In fact, the governement is focused on the cities and the suburban areas and not the rural areas. Which cause inequalities between them . The people inhabiting rural areas have a lake of training transtion that which finds one of its problems in the lack of high-speed broad band.
