Hello ! My name is Moustafa Djibril I am 45 years old, I have a wife and three children I am Syrian actually immigrant in USA
So, me and my wife had collected money for years
We were in a very difficult situation, we were threatened with death,So we decided to leave our country,
I saw many friends diying and stopping but me and my family made it , But the journey was terrible, we had to cross all of Europe in delivery trucks, before sneaking into a boat which brought us directly to New York
it was for us one of the worst memories that will certainly be buried deep inside of us
Even if the United States is a very far country from Syria, we heard many people talking about 'American Dreams' we thought that there were opportunities in this country .I wanted to escape Syria as soon as possible and live the best life possible. So i chose the USA
I have been in the United States for about 3 years, and I currently live in New York in the Bronx, in an apartment that I rent every month.
To live, I do some jobs very poorly paid, my wife who has to take care of children doesnt work, so we have problem to get Health care , and we obviously cant take our children to school
Life there is not so beautiful that we imagined it but it's better than risking our lives in Syria
Before the Syrian war, which began mid TWENTY ELF i think.
I was a doctor in Damas and my wife was a nurse , we lived really well. This city was very beautiful before this war, and everyone lived in serenity
But my children who grew up during the war didnt live the happiness we lived.
But When this war broke out, it was awful for us, every morning we were awoken by gun fires, every month we had to change our home to survive.
Although I have a lot of respect for this man, I think his immigration policy is horrible, some relatives wanting to join us in the US couldnt cross the border, so they were deported to Syria and we have no more news about them today
