So, where are you driving me to dad ?

I’m dropping you at  mom’s house just for a week because I’m leaving for australia for business purposes.

At mom’s house ?? Nooo ! She is so strict and knowing her she won’t give me the permission to go to this huge house party tomorrow night.

You need to sort this out with your mom, it’s not my problem and it’s just one party you won’t be going to… wait put your seatbelt on. We’re heading onto the highway

But Dad I really wanted to go, it’s my bestfriends sister party and the entire class is going! I don’t care about the seatbelt, i never used it and nothing happened, its useless !

No it’s not, it’s there for a reason Maria. If we have a car crash it can save your life and protect you from hitting and banging your head against the windshield. Now listen to me, I’ your father.

But the seatbelt hurts my neck but you would’nt  know the pain since you’re tall !

Just put it on please, the police is right there and if they see you not wearing your seatbelt i’ll have a fine and I don’t think you would like to pay it.

Father please stop and leave me alone, you’re not gonna have an accident, there’s nobody on the road. Could you please call mom and tell her that i really want to go to the party tomorrow night ?

Now this is how we’re gonna work. You won’t listen to me when I ask you nicely a simple thing so Ii will not be calling your mom.

When are we arriving ? We’ve been driving for quite some time now and it’s getting late Dad !

On the map it shows that the final destination iwill be reached in more or less an hour.

Oh and by the way dad,  my teacher tought us that the first cause of mortality on the road was the phone so you should  stop using it put it down in order to concentrate on the road !

Just let me call your mom because we’re getting lost and I need her to tell me how to get there. 

If you need to call her, just park somewhere and then do it. It’s safer that way.

I can’t, we’re on a highway there’s no parking nearby and we haven’t got any time to loose. I need to drop you off as quickly as possible because I need to go to the airport to catch my flight.

(phone starts ringing)

Oh that’s your mom Maria, give me the phone quickly !

Okay but that’s not a good idea. I think ‘m going to put my seatbelt on now, I feel like something bad is about to happen to us.

(Talking to the phone) hey Magalie, where’s you house ?  We’ve been driving for quite some time now , tell me, is it in wyneberg or constantia ? We’re getting lost.. and i wanted to tell you that my… Aaaaah !

(And they crashed into a wall)
