The perfect city
[pic 1]
The perfect city would have many parks and green spaces in which there would be many species of animals.
Transports in the city would be more respectful of the environment. The use of cars which is very polluting and harmful for the environment would be reduced. People would favor more respectful means of transport, like cycling, particularly to cover short distances, or public transports, preferably electric ones.[pic 2]
[pic 3]
Moreover, in order to minimize the use of cars in city centres, a lot of carparks would be built around cities and people would resort more to carpooling instead of using their private vehicules.
[pic 4]
Also for a greener city, an ecologic and respectful one, buildings would have green walls. They would also be plantations and fruit or vegetable gardens on their rooves. Rooves would be turned into community gardens.
Furthermore, to reduce the waste of drinking water which is rare on earth, storm drains would be installed on each roof to water gardens and plantations.[pic 5]
[pic 6]
Plants, flowers, fruit and vegetables could also be cultivated in little gardens maintened by neighbours
[pic 7]
So the perfect city would be ecofriendly, but also full of life.
Indeed, all kind of shops and brands from all around the world would be present in shopping centers.
[pic 8]
There would be plenty of markets in each city providing only fresh products, or local and seasonal ones.
[pic 9]
In the perfect city, shops would be open until late at night and public transports would have to be available 24 hours a day.
[pic 10]
The perfect city would be esthetic with coloured buildings and clean streets.
In my opinion, all these things would contribute to create the perfect city.
