The gap year

        Hey you,

        I know you do not want to take a gap year, but I send you this email to try to change your mind and convince you to leave with me.

        If you take a gap year, you will travel and experience the world. You’ll spend a year fully immersed in a whole new world. So you can see how others poeple have to live, what opens your mind and your eyes on reality, on the true life.  

        You will learn a new language because there’s no better way to learn a new language than to live in the country that speaks it.

        You'll come back more mature. A gap year introduces a person to so many new ideas and experiences it’s probably impossible not to change in some ways. Taking a gap year can put you in situations  that many people will never face.

        You’ll make new friends. Indeed during a gap year you can find differents ways to travel cheap abroad that allow to meet new people like wwoofing and couch surfing. There are hospitality service. Moreover to earn money during this year you can do a odd job, like babysitting, clean car, do gardening... These odd jobs  make you meet new people.

        You'll boost your job prospects because took a gap year displays the qualities many employers look for: courage, teamwork, curiosity, service, open-mindedness...

I hope I have convinced you, and that you will come with me because I would like to share this experience with you. We could do service in other country or work on projects or political campains.
