The title of the film is the Green Mile. It is an american film written and directed by Frank Darabont. The film was released in 1999. The Green Mile is an adaptation of Stephen King's movel, released in 1996.

The Green Mile is a fantastic movie. The film was released in 1999 and was shot in Louisiana. It's a fantastic movie because Michael Clark Duncan plays a character (John Coffey) with supernatural powers. But also dramatic because in the film, John Coffey is sentenced to the trouble of the electric chair for the rape and murder of two sisters. But his behavior proves that he is innocent.

The main characters of the Green Mile are: Tom Hanks plays the role of Paul Edgecomb, the head guard

Michael Clarke Duncan plays John Coffey, he was sent to death row with these supernatural powers.

David Morse represents Brutus Howell, deputy guard.

The first highlight of the film takes place when everyone discovers the powers of John Coffey. Indeed one day, while Edward was with his mouse, Mister Jingles and Paul and his team are in his cell. Mr. Jingles left the cell. Percy Wetmore who passed did not miss a second to crush him in front of Edouard and the others. Edouard collapses. While everyone was in shock, John who was in the next cell asks to see the mouse. Paul brought it and John caught it in his hands and suddenly Mr. Jingles' tail moved and a yellowish light appeared. The light disappears and John comes out of his mouth a sort of black dust that evaporates into nature. And he leaned over and opened his hand and the mouse appeared alive.

The second highlight of the film is when John heals Paul of his urinary tract infection, which not only makes him suffer terribly, but also hurts his life as a couple. One day of work, Paul feels intense pain in the testicles. While he was downstairs, John called him to "talk". Paul got up with difficulty and went to see John. Paul approaches John at his request. John grabs him and puts his hand on the spot. At liberation, John spits "evil" in the form of black particles. And Paul finds himself cured

 The film won three great awards in 2000, including Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Actor and Best Supportiong Actor, and In 2001, won two great awards for Best Film and Theater.

What i like about this film is that we can move from a fun scene to a sad scene and another really incredible in a very short time. What is also very impressive is the living conditions of some inmates and guardians who are perfectly well represented. It's a movie i've see a dozen times and i still feel the same emotions. This film managed to make me cry. The chosen music perfectly matches each chosen scene.

The only thing i didn't really like in this film the death of John.
