The conflict started in the 17th century when an English Protestant army invaded Ireland.

Since 1969 the Catholics and protestants have not made real effort to live in peace.

But the Northern Irish have had an opportunity to correct this impression, in April 1998 whit that peace treaty who is « the good friday agreement » was finally signed between the catholic and protestant political parties and it would make peace for several year it they do a cease-fire.

The event will remain engraved in the memory as the "Bloody Sunday" It gives a violent turn in the conflict. A long series of attacks by the IRA will follow.

IRA : The IRA stands for Irish Republican Army (Irish Republican Army)

It'sa Irish nationalist paramilitary organization founded in 1919 that fights the British in Ireland in order to achieve unity and independence.. !

The 23 October 2001. The IRA started its disarmament.
