In this essay, I am going to try to answer to this question: Do you think that we still need leaders like Rosa Parks to help fight injustices today?

First what’s the fight injustices? Fight injustices means, fighting something, usually values, unjust, for example Rosa Parks fought against the segregation during the 1950s until her dead.

But the question is, do we still need leaders? People will say yes, others will say no. I am going to tell you my opinion.

In this part, we are going to see the consequences if we does not have leaders to help fight injustices. In fact, if there is no leaders, the people will not be organized to fight values. When we fight injustices, we need a person who is our spokesperson. We have, for example, Martin Luther King Jr, when he spokes in front thousands and thousands of people with his famous speech “I have a dream”, he was the only one who spoke and took place in front of all this crowd. If he did not took place in front of it, there would not have been, maybe, the freedom and the equality between “black” people and “white” people.

        Despite, those consequences, I think, that today we don’t need leaders to help fight injustices.

Today, in the twentieth century, I think the human created something very useful, this thing is the Internet. In fact, now with the Internet we have different ways to expressing oneself, whether for free, anonymously, etc. For example, we have the web site: Change.org. Change.org is tool for people to advance social causes, like segregation, injustices in general. This web site count more than 100 million of users, and his goal is to allow people all over the world to create the change that they want to see.

        Finally, I think that today we don’t need leaders like Rosa Parks because there is new technologies that replaces leaders and it is simpler for the world to help the different fight injustices.
