Coco, Maupassant

La nouvelle “Coco” a été écrite par Maupassant parut au 19ème siècle. Le mouvement littéraire est réaliste. L'histoire est c’elle d’un vieux cheval dans une ferme conserver par la maitresse et un jeune homme nommé Isidore Duval est t’en charge de s’en occuper mais par les critiques de ce jeune homme fini par martyriser le cheval.

Le texte que nous allons étudier est l’incipit de cette nouvelle. Maupassant nous décrit simplement le lieu de l’action qui est imprécis, le héros éponyme “Coco”, puis son antagoniste “Zidore” le valet de la ferme, et nous répondrons à “es que cette nouvelle est un conte ou une réécriture du mythe du jardin d’Eden”.

Dans une première partie nous étudierons les trois descriptions de la ferme, de Coco, de Zidore. Dans une seconde partie nous étudierons le texte afin de savoir si c’est tu réécriture du mythe du jardin d’Eden ou un conte.
