How has IT revolution affected trade ?

Information technology (IT) is the use of any computers, storage, networking and other physical devices to create, store and exchange all forms of electronic data. IT is frequently used in software companies. These days, IT has become essential for the growth of companies. Thanks to IT, trade operations are faster, easier and more effective than past years. Richer countries have access to those IT system but poorer countries are still struggling which create a gap between them. IT allows far lower costs, trade network development, expansion and enormous improvement in the speed of market response time. For example, IT system gives you remote access to your company's electronic network, so that you can work from home or on the road. This accessibility allows you to increase your productivity because you can still get work done, even when you aren't physically in the office. With the help of IT, larger amounts of information can be exchanged among a wide range of people, making possible multilateral business activities on a global scale. To conclude, IT revolution is a great asset for richer countries but poorer countries who don't have access to those facilities are left behind.
