Spaces and exchanges:
Let me start by defining the notion of spaces and exchanges. This notion deals with the geographical and symbolic areas that all society occupy and also the interaction of men and different societies. The different cultural, economic, sociological and language interactions have shaped and characterized our modern-day world.
Then, To what extent school structure has an impact on students mobility ?
First we are we are going to talk about the advantages of HS , then we are going to analyse all the bad aspects. We are going to be able to see the major differences between HS advantages and disadvantages.
During the year we studied different aspect of school education such as homeschooling who will be the main subject.
Homeschooling is a progressive movement around the country and the world in witch parents choose to educate their children at home instead of sending them to a traditional public or private school.
In the first document we can see a picture that represent homeschooling expectations and the reality. People in the society thinks homeschooling has the negative aspect of being taught alone, it can be an advantage because when you learn at home, parents can keep an eye on their child how seems blooming and happy of his surroundings as fish in water. Home schooled chidrens have an educational freedom, they choose to learn what they want, when they want and as long as they want. They also have a sort of emotional freedom because they can dress and act the way they want. They have no fear of ridicule or a need to fit in. There is also the fact that a child can have his own religion and to not be afraid of the others
opinion.
On the other hand this document show that PSL shows some drawbacks because it aims at a straight education. It may be similar to a military parade, the result isn’t what you were expecting. As we can see on the pictures seen at school students are compared to a sardine box where you cannot breathe and ask for « help ». Now we can see that students who are homeschooled are very disadvantaged and impacted in social mobility. They have less means to interact with peoples. the fact that home schooled are 24/7 with their parents can be very testing. A child need to be free sometimes, he need to get out of this frame where they are trap in their house with their parents.
To conclude if you dont like school HS might seem like the perfect solution. But its better for everyone if HS isn’t chosen as an escape from schools or problems there such as bulling. Finding solution to the problem should be the first step. Now we’ve seen the two aspect of HS: we saw that it can be benefit or not. It depends of how does it.
