- INTRODUCTION
For my internship of the second year, I was welcomed for 6 weeks within the residence Fannie's House, situated to Saint Quentin.
During this work experience, I discovered and studied the functioning and the organization of this service. So, I was thus able to participate in the daily work of the Management assistant and the communications manager whose task is to maintain the residents’s files and regularly update them.
In a first part, I shall present the residence Fannie's House
My internship supervisors asked me to set up a business development and quality of the communication project. This procedure can so be followed by the employees and the director in a complete, effective and fast way.
In conclusion I shall specify what the contributions of this internship are, and the reflections on my orientation which I concluded.
- PRESENTATION OF THE RESIDENCE
This residence operates in the medical and social sector, it is a modern and spacious establishment who has unity protected of 14 beds among 90 other beds. It’s composed of a competent multidisciplinary team and invested in its missions.
The available animations for the residents are : singing, reading of newspaper, manual activities, board games or even weekly outside exits are realized by the team of nursing. A chef develops on the spot the menus from fresh products so claiming the naming home-made

- MY PROJET : BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND QUALITY OF THE COMMUNICATION
With the confidence of my guardians, I had to make a success of the business development and have a quality of communication, and for this needs to have concrete actions towards the prospects, and the partners :
- I identified the good targets and to canvass effectively
- I contacted by e-mail, phone, or even by mail, to invite our prospects as City halls, the Social workers, Hospitals and the Local center Information Coordination of Picardy for a visit of our residence.
- To reassure and motivate visitors, I realized via PowerPoint, a slide show which will be sent by e-mail, as well as to insert him in the screen of the welcome :
- Photos presenting the residence
- The restoration ;
- Room ;
- Bath room.
- By means of the organizer, the photos of the animations with the residents, as since the beginning :
- Exits except the residence, as in the park of Isle or in museums ;
- Manual studios as the knitting, the cooking ;
- Studios gym so that the residents keep in shape ;
- The meals and taken out of Christmas and new Year holidays ;
- The coming of people outside as dogs visitor, a beekeeper, an accordionist, singers, magicians...
- With this slide show, I have created an organisation chart with photos, which consisted in making a photographic list of the employees of the residence to put them at the reception and to add them to the monthly e-mail, whish present the different activities of the residents.
- Accompanied with this project, being in the office situated at the reception, I made spots usual of a greeter :
- Welcome, inform and inform the public about the face-to-face services or phone ;
- Manage the files of the residents.
- CONCLUSION
In conclusion, I found this experience useful because it helped me to find my professional future, by many ways:
- Improve my work organisation ;
- Take responsabilities ;
- Knowing the medical sector ;
- Improve my human contacts skills.
