Dear members of the selection committee for M1 Master’s Degree in Finance

I am writing to express my interest in applying for a Master’s degree in Finance awarded by Toulouse School Management. I am currently studying Economics and Management at the University of Caen. I am a Senegalese-Italian student who decided to pursue her university studies in France in order to access a higher level of education. This difficult but ambitious decision, has allowed me to adapt to different environments and to step out of my comfort zone.

I was particularly attracted by the excellent reputation of your programs and of your establishment as a whole. Indeed, Master 1 Finance is among the top 10 Masters in Finance that are EPAS-accredited worldwide.

I chose this specific master’s degree as it offers the perfect combination of courses needed to build a strong foundation for my career. Another feature that motivated my decision to enroll in this particular degree, is that the program is entirely taught in English. This feature offers multiple international opportunities. Given the fact that I obtained a score of … in the TOEIC Listening and Reading test, I will not have any difficulty to attend the courses.

I am therefore eager to fully invest myself in your master’s degree in order to deepen my knowledge in Finance and acquire all the skills needed to pursue a second year with a double master’s degree, awarded by your university and you partner HEC Liège, in Finance Markets and Risk Evaluation.

I am confident that this master’s program will provide me with all the necessary qualifications for a career as a Risk Analyst. I find the profession of the Risk Analyst particularly fascinating due to its positive impact on the work environment. Indeed, the Risk Analyst provided security for companies in order for them to stay in business, but also protection from numerous threats that exist in business.

Taking into consideration my strength of character, my resilience and my analytical mind, I am convinced that this profession matches my interests and personality.

Considering my goals, my academic performance and the desire to enrich my knowledge, I am confident that I would be a valuable addition to the program.
