JOB 1 : Director of business development sport and entertainment / Washington convention and sport authority

my name is XXX, I am 28 years old.

To date, I have a license and a master's degree in sports buisiness and marketing from XXX, carried out alternately with XXX.

I have done several seasonal jobs since I was 15 years old, including babysitting, catering and fields.

But I also have experience as a basketball sports coach.

I also did a "civic service" in the XXX basketball club.

My assignments were mainly related to the organization.

I was in charge of planning the games of each weekend, organizing events within the club and I also managed the online club shop.

During my studies, I was also involved in organizing an international university tennis tournament. I was in charge with 3 other XXX students of the organization and layout of the site. We have set up signage, decoration and arranged different rooms. For exemple I had the idea to create a balloon arch with the image of the tournament. We put it at the main entrance and it had its effect.

One of my main competence is creativity. I put this skill at the service of marketing for 5 years in several companies. I have plenty of ideas, I like to find original solutions, to create or improve things. I love to draw and create new things using my imagination and that from a young age. I even have a Facebook page where you can see all my drawings. I always knew I would use this creativity in my future projects.

My creativity, coupled with a great autonomy will allow me tomorrow to excel as director of sports and event development.

I have also started to develop a strategy for a new partnership.

I believe we could contact XXX, the main partner of the XXX tournament, international tennis tournaments, in order to take control of the event that is not well known enough and to develop internationally. What do you think?

My basketball practice over many years allowed me to develop my sense of teamwork and brought me a lot humanly speaking.

My many group studies have allowed me to learn how to deal with the unexpected, differences of opinion and have brought me experience.

Currently, I am responsible for sports development within the XXX.

In this role:

- I have developed international and external communications strategies to promote university sport.

- I have created sports events open to everyone with the aim of introducing students to sports practices

- I also organized several days with many stands. At each of these stands, there was a demonstration of a sport and an opportunity to register for the semester.

My professional career began in 2014 as manager of sports and events for the XXX company, organizer of English basketball camps throughout France with American coaches.

For this company, I have performed different tasks with a team of 3 persons:

- I had to find new qualified American coaches

- I had to find basketball clubs all over France to host the camp

- I also developed the store by finding a new supplier and creating an online store to increase profits and our visibility.

- I was in charge of managing relations with the press during the many camps.

I held this position for one year and then the next two years I worked atXXX sport agency in Paris as a project manager for sports events.

For this work, I have carried out several missions with a team of 6 person:

- I have created more creative image right management solutions

- I have developed and implemented partnerships tailored to our brand strategy with high-performance athletes.
