I. Overview of the company

1) The company

MRJ Chaussures is a company which sells shoes of all ranges.

The company has ten shops in French and it employed sixty-three employees. I did my internship in the shop in Meximieux. Our team was composed of three sellers, and a manager.

2) The product

The items proposed by the company are unisex shoes and many accessories related to the shoes

They are many sidelines shoes are brought together by age and by sex. All the stock of shoes and accessories are immediately available to consumer. The cleanliness of the store and shoes layout is very important for the image of the shop. The concurrence is Remi Chausseurs which has two shops located in downtown, a specialist in children's shoes, the other for adults.

II. Tasks performed

During my internship I have done many tasks in the shop:

 The reception of merchandises: box of shoes and accessories had to be unpacked one by one and checked. After check, and setting up anti-theft device on the content.

 Preparation of the store before it opens : I cleaned and tidied the store

 Restocking, which consist in putting in counters sold out products available in stocks.

 Sales labeling: cutting and pasting price tags.

 Setting up of the new collection.

 Help to clients : I advised clients

 The salesman: He must be positive and always smiling in all the situations. Moreover, it’s necessary to be still available for clients.

III. Critical analysis

1) Professional experience

This internship helped me learn a lot about sale. It is a very rewarding experience that has opened the world of work. Moreover, I got more experience in client’s relations.

2) The work environment

Despite the heavy workload the staff welcomed me and was friendly all the time. The staff has contributed to positive working conditions. I felt fully integrated into the team, and never apart.

Throughout this internship, I had the opportunity to develop my and I checked my confidence about client relation.

3) My professional project

After my degree of Departement Marketing Techniques, I wish to continue my studies towards a professional license. This internship confirms my future project. Indeed, client relationship and the marketing fascinate me.

CONCLUSION:

To finish, I can say that this internship in the company MRJ CHAUSSURES made me learn new skills. Indeed, this internship has taught me to adapt myself to the requirements of salesman with different tasks that I have done during this internship. This internship has enriched my knowledge about the company and its organization. I'm glad to have made this
