        Introduction to the presentation

"Good morning everyone, blablabla... "

        The whole world deals with this problem of boundaries considering the different cultures and languages that find themselves mingled between one another. And little by little, people feel like there's an increase of loss of indentity.

        It may not be the case for everyone but imperceptibly, cultural boundaries are being erased. And therefore, the problem raised here is to see as to where to set the boundaries in order to maintain cultural traditions and characteristics that are specific to each country. For example, in the European Union, the countries are all bound to each other in a political way. But how can cultural diversities be maintained? The EU moto is "united in diversity" which is paradoxical since it means it is one but at the same time being of so many different countries that all have their own cultures and traditions. They do not share the same ideas and ways of living. So it cannot be fully united in that way. So is the union at stake or are the cultural boundaries ?

        And this may be for European Union, but it consists in a universal problem that all countries face with the spreading of English speaking. This puts the local languages at stake since they become less important. The world is so eager to be united and accessible to every single person that it forgets about the importance of cultural differences and the respect of them.

        Wherever you go, any country, whether it is a Spanish, Chinese, Korean, or Arabic speaking country, not speaking that local language shouldn't be a barrier to anyone who wishes to go there, so you will always be able to manage as long as you speak english. But the problem then is that the actual language of the country you are at is not respected and begins to disappear.

        And we will notice same stakes in the market world. Therefore the question we ask ourselves is : " How are languages at stake both in their respective country and in the economical world?"
