Presentation of the movie Inception

Hi everyone, today I will introduce to you one of my favorite movies, Inception.

Inception is a 2010 science fiction movie, directed by Christopher Nolan. It considered one of the best films of the 2010s, won 4 Oscars and was nominated for 4 more at the 83rd Academy Awards.

To start, I will talk a little about the plot of the movie:

It’s starring Leonardo DiCaprio as a lead role in this, playing the character Cobb. Now Cobb steals information from his target by entering their dreams. He is wanted in his country for the potential murder of his wife and his only chance at redemption and freedom is to perform a nearly impossible task. Accompanying him are his trustworthy partners and together they make a perfect plan to carry out that seemingly impossible mission.

Now, I will talk about the upsides and downside of this film:

Upsides:

• The visuals: this film was beautifully shot as one about dreams should be and the art direction was top notch. That anti-gravity set piece was one of many awe-inspiring moments in this film as the folding city as we can see here.
• Hans Zimmer’s score: the film’s score, composed by Hans Zimmer, is iconic and enhances the tension and drama.
• Emotional depth: while being a sci-fi action thriller, “Inception” also explores emotional themes, particularly Cobb’s internal struggles and his late wife which adds a layer of emotional depth to the story.

Downside:

• In my opinion, I think that the only downside of this movie is that it’s hard to understand when we watch it for the first time. Me, I had to focus to get understand the movie’s plot but when I did, it was really amazing.

Now, I will say why I chose to talk about” Inception” and why I love it:

First, I chose this movie because I love watching movies directed by Chritopher Nolan thanks to his innovative storytelling and clever use of narrative layers. Besides, the actors who play in this movie are also my favorite actors. And as I said above, I didn’t really understand while the first time I watched it, so I decided to go to find some videos explaining on the Internet and I was mind-blowing about this film’s plot and depths that I did not know.

If you haven’t experienced “Inception” yet, I recommend you watch it once in life and you will find at least a reason to love it.
