The idea of progress can be defined as social progress, progress of communication, political, medical and scientific progress, which aim at making the world a better place.                                                        In order to do that we going to answer the key question :

How have the Internet and social networks changed our lives and our social relationships ?

In the first time, we speak about advantages and drawbacks of the internet.

In the second part, we will deal with advantages and drawbacks of social networks ?

Fisrtly, Internet allows to watch the new movies on streaming, to listen music, to play videogames, to download videos, to send mails, to shopping online, to go on social networks, to surf on the net, to book, to work, to learn, to keep up with actuality and to save time too.

Futhermore Internet is very fast and allows time efficient. Also internet allows you to easily inform yourself. Everyday millions of people use Internet in the world ; but it’s really dangerous. This Internet causes virus, deep web, hacker, bug, fake information. Abo Internet can become addicted if you spend too much time on the net. Internet aults us of from reality.

In a second time, social networks are a platform where you can meet people to share and make friends. There are different examples of social networks, Snapchat is a fast social network where you can take photos while Instagram  is a platform where you can give your opinion on photos of your followers. Social networks allows to share photos or videos, to keep in touch with our friends, to find a job, to self objects, to communicate, to meet and consulte people and also to get informed. On the contrary social networks is really dangerous because meet fake people, and to be suicide.

Finally people spend all the time on the phone and the computer. It has become an indispensable accessory.

These new means of communication changed our lives because they allows us to enter the heart of the new generation and enter a modern society. Children and some adults spend a lot of time the Internet and a social networks, which degrades their social and family relationships with their loved ones. However, in some circumstances this may be disrespectful.
