sujet type bac : on your own words express your opinion on the global warming situation

Sometimes I wonder what it will take for the so called "humans" to wake up and see how bad the situation of the Eath is . Because it really is.

I used the quotation marks because I don't believe that this is human behavior. I don't want to believe that THIS is what humanity has become. It is way too sad andrevolting to be true.

No but i mean seriously, what is it going to take? Fire?The Earth already tried but spoiler alert: IT DIDN'T WORK! Just a quick reminder without going back too far in the past: the Amazonian forest, our planet's lungs, burnt down because of ONE man. Right now Australia is still burning but we don't talk about it anymore because people got bored of hearing about it, because it's bad, it's negativity and it's part everyone's fault. People rather be in denial than actually do something to improve things.

And after all the signs our planet has sent us and for decades (earthquakes, tornados, tsunamis,...) some stubborn idiots still won't believe that global warming is a real issue. Actually I kind of get why they do that, I mean honestly of course it's so much easier to say to active teenagers that they don't know what they're talking about or doing, that they're way too young to think "like adults", that they'll understand when they'll "grow up". Well for that we could use a chance to actually grow old with a stable and safe planet.

Why is it so hard to admit that they're wrong and they've been outsmarted by a bunch of "kids".

Moreover, why in all the science fiction movies about time travelling they don't want to move, to do or to change anything in fear of huge and impredictable aftermath, BUT in the real life people don't believe that even a small earth-friendly act can impact positivly our future?

If you want my opinion, all of this is confusing. And actually, not just all of this is confusing, "adults" behavior with teenager is confusing. One day they'd expect us to act like responsible adults and the day after they'd consider us and talk to us as if they talked to a child. I said it and I'll say it again it is more than confusing.

Oh and I almost forgot: whenever we want to express ourselves because we don't understand why adults behave like that with us they won't listen to us and tell us to calm down and that we are just in our "period of teenage rebellion", which exist for certain teenager but not all of them.

Now adults, please set up your mind on whether we are adults or kids, no more in between, so we can know how to act.

Also, each and every inhabitants of the Earth, please remember that you are not alone in there, you are not the first human to live where you live and you don't want to be the last so please help us preserving our beautiful planet because we don't have any backup plans.

And Earth, here I stand in the name of all of us, saying that I am so sorry for everything that we've done to you, and to ourselves. I know things look pretty bad right now but we will fix it, we're working on it. I promise.
