DEVOIR D’ANGLAIS 2
Part 1 – A Message :
- The caller’s name is Nicola Smith.
- Her e-mail address is : nicola.smith@french-escapade.co.uk
- She wants to give information about a group of 7 people who wanted to stay in a chalet near the coast but not on the Côte d’Azur in France. They all would like to be in the same chalet.
- – There is 7 people in the group.
- They all want to stay in the same chalet near the coast but not on the Cote d’Azur.
- They are particularly interested by motor sports.
- They want to know if there is some nightlife in the village.
- Nicola wants to have details about the localization of the chalet and the local region. She also wants a description of the chalet, a list of sporting activities available in the village and in immediate locality and if there is a sort of nightlife in the village. She wants to know a rough price guide to give to their clients.
Part 2 – Holiday Villages :
- To find the perfect chalet for this group , I must find a chalet for at least 7 people because they all wanted to stay together. It must be located near the coast but not on the Cote d’Azur.
- The first one (Saint-Jean-de-Ré) is not suitable because it is only up to 6 people.
The Chanac Holliday Village is located in Ardèche and it is too far from the coast.
The Cap de Giens is located on the Cote d’Azur and the group says not on the Cote d’Azur.
The Beausite is located in the Loire Valley and it is too far away from the coast.
The Lizaru can be perfect because of the water sports but it is only for 6 people and our group is 7 .
So I think the Laniac Holliday Village is perfect because it is up to 8 people, it is located only 5 minutes away from the coastline.
Part 3 – The e-mail :
Dear Nicola,
I found the information you asked me in your message.
So there is a chalet suitable for 8 people situated only 5 minutes’ walk away the North Breton coastline and next to a small lake. Each chalet have a living room with a fireplace and equipped kitchen area with a dishwasher and microwave. Both rooms have a double bed and two single and bunk beds. There is one bathroom with independent toilets.
In the village there are two restaurants, a self and a bar that turns into a nightclub after 11 P.M.
The activities that you can do in or nearby the village are : windsurfing, sailing, fishing, archery, horseback riding.
Concerning the prices, it depends of the season :
- From 01/04 to 30/06 it is 78€ a night
- From 01/07 to 31/08 it is 142€ a night
- From 01/09 to 15/11 it is 65€ a night
On site, they will have to pay the tourist tax which is 1€/person and per night. They will also have to leave a deposit of 200€.
They can bring your own linen with them or rent some for 8€/ person.
At the end of the stay they can clean the chalet by themselves or pay a housekeeper for 48€ and it’s 17€ for any extra cleaning.
I hope these information will help you and your clients.
Best regards,
