Writing exercise

so the first week uh concerning English class  improve my speaking as well as my listening and to improve my English in general I started watching everything in in English I mean like my YouTube videos, Netflix I started a new series named suits which is about a lawyer and I also tried to focus on listening music in English in general so cause you know when listening to the songs I don't really understand the words sometimes  so would I try to do this for example for some songs that I liked in English but I couldn't really understand the lyrics I tried to look up the lyrics and sing at the same time so I would understand and also improve my speaking (accent) as well as my listening

So I'm going to be honest with you because as Thomas Jefferson said “honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom” so yeah I didn't do pretty much the second week except watching my series in Netflix in English. I cannot pretend I did something that I didn't do.

The third week, I read an article which was about DNA, and I looked up for 10 words that I didn’t know and I marked them and translated them so I could learn some new words to improve my vocab.

• Yielded : to produce something
• Robust : strong and healthy

• Assay: the testing of a metal or ore to determine its ingredients and quality

• Murine : family of rat
• Consensus : a general agreement

• Subset: a part of a larger group of related things.
• Cumbersome : large or heavy and therefore difficult to carry or use

So concerning the fourth week, I told myself that I would watch 3 documentaries in English so I could improve my listening as well as my general knowledge. So, the first one who was the short documentary about 15 minutes, and it was about one of the most special boats on earth it's an English boat that is currently in Italy and it's been through a lot. it's a 120-year-old sailing ship. I decided to watch this documentary because I really love boats and the sea. I was amazed by this boat. the second documentary I watched was the biography of Tupac Shakur or shortly known as Tupac which is in my opinion one of the greatest rappers of all time and one of my personal favorites. the documentary was about his life: he comes from a very humble place and he’s part of a gang but also does music and becomes very successful and thanks to his talent. But he unfortunately gets the murder by his ex-best friend who is also every known rapper. the last documentary I watched was the biography of Michael Schumacher which is one of the greatest Formula One races ever, and the documentaries also is about his life it describes perfectly how a good fighter he is. he had an accident while skiing a few years ago and was paralyzed and he can't move at all anymore
