Testimony of an underground citizen.

My first memories were down there, I can’t remember how it was before… I don’t know if I

was a baby or if I was yet to be born, all I know is what I have been told.

With global warming the water from oceans and seas evaporated quicker and quicker,

steam is one of the greenhouse gases so it was a vicious circle. The warmer we get the

more steam there was and the more steam there was the warmer it gets.

Nuclear power plant that used water to cool down overheated and ultimately exploded.

They had been warmed and had tried to shut them down but it was already too late.

Ice started to melt all around the Earth and that freed ancient bacterias and viruses we did

not know how to fight. Diseases and pandemics killed billions of people.

The ground has become uninhabitable, it is far too hot, nothing can live up there, it is like a

burning hell.

Leaders tried to do something, underground shelters like this one have been built but

everything happened so quickly, so many lives were lost… They had been being told but

they were so fascinated by space colonisation that they forgot to watch over what was just

in front of them. However it's not a surprise if " illegal" organisations are crawling in the

shadows. I'm doubting whether we can talk about "illegal activities" anymore, morals are

no longer present in the current society we live in. Especially since refugees escaped

mostly underground, yet everyone that hoped to escape this cruel reality never rises out

from underground and gone missing or never made it alive. Oh I forgot to mention a huge

part of these refugees are the Mafia.

Well in theory, they weren't at first glance they hid their game pretty well and created it

underground while everyone wasn't paying attention since a ton of problems occured.

They pretended to be normal citizens.

We can indeed talk about underground citizens. On one hand we have the shelters built

where everyone lives, and on the other hand towns for thugs and illegal activities and

mafias.

That is why we can talk about "underground citizens".

Of course underground citizen isn't a term to take literally only, it can be people not

mentioned in the media, or anywhere but not ordinary either. Possibly can also be a secret

group organised to overthrow a government
