The True Cost

1. Visionnez la vidéo. Comme vous êtes chez vous, autant de fois qu’il vous faudra mais en essayant de vous limiter aux 20 minutes de préparation. Normalement ces 20 minutes de préparation lors de votre examen final inclut aussi le parcours professionnel.

1.  Identifiez le vocabulaire clé et les idées principales.
   
2. Lors de votre partiel et examen final vous aurez à vous exprimer uniquement en anglais.

Cet exercice en est une préparation.

a. Rédigez son compte-rendu en anglais. Ce compte rendu devrait représenter une
   présentation du contenu d’environ 5 minutes.

1. Les autres 5 minutes servent à un échange avec l’examinateur.
   

Répondez aux questions suivantes en anglais en donnant votre opinion : 

1. Some people think that fast fashion creates a chain of reactions and consequences.

In your opinion what impact does fast fashion have on consumerism, globalization and humanity in general?

1. Why do you think that big brands relocate their production to developing countries knowing that they are exploiting low-wage workers?
   
2. Describe how ethical, or not, is your own clothes shopping. Does it answer a necessity or is it something more: a hobby?

1. Fashion create overconsumption of clothes because, fashion is extremely temporary, and to follow it you need to buy clothes frequently, it’s so fast for the humanity, the factory needs to be superproductive.

The prices of products are less, brands needs to made products on poor countries, where people works a lot for few money, and human rights are not respected, like child working on this factories.

1. It’s a good thing to relocate productions into countries, because factories on good countries respect the human rights, for the pollution too because, if you product on France for the French market, you generate less pollution.

1. I bought my clothes with feeling, when I like it, it’s more a hobby for my, for example I have like 15 sneakers, and maybe 10 jackets. I bought shoes more for passion, but I have a budget, not more than 140 euros for one pair.
