At first, we will focus on the description of the host company.
Then, we will explain the mission description and have an analysis.
Finally, we will be interested on my professional and personal contributions from this experience.

II/ Description of the host company

Bouygues UK is a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction. It is a Private limited Company.

Bouygues is a SA created by Francis Bouygues in 1952. The group is divided into several areas: construction, real estate development, telecommunications, and media.
Today, the group has more than 129,000 employees. This company is known for its diversification. In construction they deliver all kinds of projects: housing, airports, leisure centres, school and universities etc.
In civilian work, Bouygues has already built roads and freeways, infrastructure port, subways, trams etc. With regard to the Energy & Services dimension, Bouygues has carried out street lighting, electrical, mechanical engineering and energy network infrastructures.
Finally, for the concessions part, Bouygues carries out the management and operation of transport infrastructure, sports and entertainment facilities, ports etc.
The watchword of Bouygues is innovation. This concerns all their fields. Especially in construction, Bouygues is still trying to find solutions to go more and more towards sustainable construction.

Shared innovation - they are leading the way and have a global Research and Development (R&D) department to keep them at the forefront of the industry, they spent £16m in 2016 on R&D.
