Who is OJ Simpson?

His real name is Orenthal James Simpson, also nicknamed "the juice" was born on July 9 - 1947, in San Francisco, California. he Is an American actor, advertising, and football player.   born in the union of Eunice Simpson and Jimmy Lee Simpson. From this same union were born three children.

At the age of  4 old , OJ's parents divorce following the announcement made by the latter (he confessed to being gay while being a drag queen.).

This announcement devastated OJ's mother, who had to raise four children on her own. With her salary as a nurse’s aide at San Francisco General Hospital, she could barely cover her family's needs.He and his brothers had a very difficult life.

When he arrived at college OJ chained bad grades ,  which prevented him from integrating into the best universities.

However, there was one area in which he excelled.

-Why was he so famous? What can be considered peculiar about him as a famous black man at that time (1980 - 90)?

At  college oj devoted all his energy to football, making him the best of his college .

Indeed, football became an escape for him, an area that could help him lift his family out of poverty.

To succeed in this restricted environment, in which most of the people to succeed were white, required courage and patience and the talent that OJ had.

His perseverance paid off when he became the best American football player in history.

 At a time when racial discrimination was very present.

OJ became a pride  in the African American community. OJ was no less than a hero to them.

-in 1968, he won the Heisman trophy, for its  performance.

-was one of history’s most heralded rookies when the Buffalo Bills

-selected him as the No 1 player in the entire 1969 draft. In the year 1973

-OJ became the first pro player to rush more than 2,000 yards a season just at 26

At that time, he became the model for many African Americans who dreamed of being like OJ to be able to get out of poverty.

-At only 19 years old, he married his first love Marguerite in 1967. Together they had three children.

-after 12 years of marriage his wife files for divorce for OJ's infidelity.

-In 1985, five years after he retired from football, Nicole  Brown and OJ got married. The couple had two children.

-once again his wife filed for divorce in 1992.

*Murder

- On June 13, 1994, O.J Simpson's ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman were both found murdered, an outsider of Nicole's house in Brentwood California stabbed to death. The evidence found at the scene indicated O.J Simpson as the prime suspect.
