Brave New High-tech World
The following document is a press article. It was published on 15 february 2006 and extracted in the middleton news. It deals with the new high tech in the World and their use increase, particularly for the young people and the northern countries. In the first part we will present the new trend of technology and the second part their problems of them. Thirdly we will focus on consequences of text messages.
The new technology are constantly changing, currently the users of SMS are increasing in the world. The biggest users have less 30 years and live in USA, Asia and Europe. Text messages are more used than phone calling. The SMS are at the same level than fax, email and phone.
However, some issues appear with the increasing of use the SMS. For example, a boss use the SMS for dismiss his employees and that without no need to brave them. His employees no check their email week-end and SMS is more quickly and private than email.
Consequently, SMS are not appropriate for dismiss an employee. Moreover, In Switzerland the government have choice to allowed the text voting system. The SMS are accepted and get in mores because it is very speedy as video messages. The messaging market is massive with 50 billion euros.
To put it in a nutshell, SMS are now more and more present in our society and in corporations and government. We can wonder if these new technologies are an advantage and until what point.
