Population
Mexico is the eleventh most populous country in the world, with an estimated population of more than 126 million people by 2020. Most of these people have Spanish as their mother tongue, which the state recognizes as a national language along with 67 indigenous languages of the nation, although about 287 languages are spoken in the country.
Flag
The Mexican flag is a national symbol that, together with the national anthem and coat of arms, represents the country and with it the pride of being Mexican.
The Mexican flag consists of three vertical stripes, which are red, white and green. In the central white strip is the national coat of arms: an eagle perched on a cactus with a snake in one of its claws. The Mexican flag was officially presented in 1821 and although the flag has changed moderately over time the new Mexican flag is almost exactly the same as when it was created, almost 200 years ago.

On the shield is represented an eagle seen in profile devouring a snake, standing on a nopal cactus. The scene is framed by a semicircle surrounding the lower part of the scene, composed of an oak branch and a laurel branch, linked by a ribbon containing the tricolour of the country.
