La vie de Mike Tyson

Good mornig everyone, my name is Idris, and totay I’m going to talk about one of the most controversial boxer of the history: Michael Gerard Tyson, also know with the name of Mike Tyson. Nowadays everyone know him for his tattoo, his fight where he tears the ear of his opponent, or his apparitions in movies. Nevertheless he was probably the most gifted boxer of his generation, and he could be the best of the history if his didn’t make curious choices.

I. From darkness to light

I’d like to begin by his chilhood. Tyson was born in Brooklyn, New York City in 1966 . He has one brother, Rodney, who is five years older than him and one sister, Denise.

Tyson’s father abandoned his family when Tyson was only 2. That’s why his mother has to take care of their 3 children alone.

With the only salary of the mother they have to move from their home to Brownsville, one of the poorest areas of the city. And it’s the beginnig of his troubles with policy. Indeed he had been arrested 38 times duriong his childhood for theft, fights, and deal.

It’s in prison at the age of 14, that’s Cus d’Amato start to trainning him. Indeed it weights 85 kg, he was made for boxing.

And it’s the beginnig of his new life. With his coach, and his motivation, he left the prison and spends most of his time training. In 1985 , it’s the beginning of his succes story, he became professionel at 18 in the category of the heavyweight.

He won his 16 first fights by KO before the four’s round. That’s how he had a new nickname “KID Dynamite”.

During 4 years he won six titles of world champions in differentweight classes heavier. He was at the top of his game, and nothing and noone seems able to stop it. From It’s success will result a new nickname: Iron man Tyson.

II. The descent into hell

Tyson's superiority is unquestionable but his tormented personality made the headlines with scandals, quarrels with his entourage,returns its very good coach Kevin Rooney. And became the boxer's promoter Don King.

Personal problems and bad management career prevented him from making a good preparation, and Tyson suffered his first defeat. This is just the beginning of his long descent into hell. Indeed In 1992, Tyson was convicted of raping Desiree Washington, for which he was sentenced to six years in prison but was released after serving three years. After being released from prison in 1995, he engaged in a series of comeback fights. In jail, Tyson converted to Islam and change his name into Malik Abdul Aziz. For his comeback in get a new nickname “The badest man one the planet”.

And to everyone's surprise, he won his last two worldchampionships in 1996. However, its old demons continued and in 1997 he died of his opponent's ear in the open game
