what brings an odd couple together ?

We all know many books in which the main characters shares the same dream in spite of their different personality and storylife. These unlikely friendships  and romance usualy makes the most beautiful stories because in spite of their differences the characters shares mutual respect and trust.

So we may wonder  how did this odd couple where bring together ?

I will now give you three exemples of novels   that  present unlikely friendships and love stories sush as  "the help" from american author  Kathryn Stockett (2009) , earlier american author john steinbeck with "of mice and men" 1937 , and Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare (1597) All those novels have there own movies adaptation.

At the begining, the two caracters are opposite , they don't have the same way of life for exemples in "the help", which happens in the 20th century when it was segregation in america,  skeeter and aibeliene has a master slave relation: one is a white rich girls and the other is the house maid. In the storie "of mice and men" Lenney and Georges are very much different too but they spend they whole lives together, Lenny is a big guy his strong and loyal but he is mentaly retarded and Goerges is the little and smart one , he takes care of Lenny.Romeo and Juliet are from different families who hates each other but then romeo and juliet fall in love in spite the contradictions.

then: they found themselves a common point, goal, dream or they fall in love

skeeter an aibeline are writing a book about the importance of the black maids who actualy raise the childrens of the house the work in, so they are trying to convinced others maids to testify

lenny and george dream of having they own farm, Skeeter and Aibeleen are working on there article

romeo and juliet common goal is their passionate love upon which they will count to survive the families scandalous concequences

at the end: goerge kill Lenny because otherwise he will go to prison

at the end the help skeeter goes to New York to become a writter and Aibeleen quite on her job as a servant because now that the book is published she feels free and release.

But unfortunately what makes them great stories is that the soul mates don't end up together because somethings got wrong or better and they heve to split, but the love and respect will always be there and that' s what it is all about, those feelings that will always be there many years later.
